KNVB releases Eredivisie 2026/2027 match schedule | PSV plays their first match at home

KNVB has announced on Tuesday evening the play schedule of the Eredivisie for the 2026/2027 season. The new football season in the Eredivisie starts on 7 August 2026 with the match SC Cambuur - Excelsior.

PSV plays a day later, on Saturday, August 8, the first match of the season in the hunt for the fourth league title in a row. Peter Bosz’s team plays at 8 p.m. at the Philips Stadium against Fortuna Sittard.

After the match against the Fortunezen, PSV plays away again in the month of August at Excelsior, at home against FC Groningen and the always tricky away match against FC Utrecht. In September, PSV plays the first top game when Bosz’s team travels to Amsterdam in the first weekend of that month for the match against Ajax.

The last match of September is also a difficult encounter, namely away at FC Twente. In October, PSV then plays three home matches, the last of which is on 25 October at home against Feyenoord.

The last match of the calendar year is for PSV a home match against PEC Zwolle. The first match of the calendar year 2027 sees PSV play in Rotterdam against Feyenoord. In that month, Bosz's team plays three away matches.

PSV closes the football season off in Friesland. In matchday 34 on Sunday 23 May, Bosz's men travel to face sc Heerenveen.
