Contradictory messages about the upcoming medical examination

The transfer of Ismael Saibari to FC Bayern München is informal in the sense that all parties have made contractual agreements about the transfer fee and the date that the transfer will officially take place has meanwhile become known.

Accounting-wise, the transfer is carried over into the month of June so that the whole can be recorded in the new football season. PSV and FC Bayern Munich managed everything properly in recent weeks, which is why PSV granted permission to initiate the medical examination in the United States.

Over the past few days, conflicting reports emerged about Saibari’s medical examination. According to BILD, it has already been completed, while PSV watcher Rik Elfrink, on behalf of Eindhovens Dagblad, once again urges caution. The regional paper puts the reports about the medical examination into perspective, as it often does with transfer matters. The paper states that the details are not yet fully finalized.

Certainty above all else because a medical examination might still throw a spanner in the works. According to BILD, Saibari has already passed his medical examination and the signing of a contract until mid-2031 is being prepared. The transfer fee would come to between €52 and €55 million, including the necessary bonuses.

According to the cautious Eindhoven Daily News, a final agreement has therefore not yet been reached. The transfer will not be announced earlier than 1 July this year, the Eindhoven newspaper writes, which normally receives the reported information directly from PSV officials.
