Three World Cup starters with PSV on a training camp

PSV will go on a training camp in Germany from 20 to 24 July. In Klosterpforte, Peter Bosz's squad is working toward the PSV FAN day on Saturday 25 July, and in the meantime Bosz can now once again count on three World Cup players.

Esmir Bajraktarevic, Guus Til and Matej Kovar have enjoyed their vacation over the past few weeks after they were eliminated with their countries at the World Cup in North America. Now the three players return to PSV and will join the training camp.

Bajraktarevic will report on Wednesday to PSV. The Bosnian was eliminated with his team in the second round after a 2-0 defeat against Team USA.

In addition, Bosz still cannot count on Paul Wanner, Ivan Perisic, Ricardo Pepi, and Sergino Dest. The two Americans were eliminated in the round of 16 due to Belgium, and therefore have been absent for longer than Wanner and Perisic, who were both eliminated in the second round.

In addition to the World Cup goers, Bosz still cannot rely on captain Jerdy Schouten, who has been ruled out until the beginning of 2027 due to a serious knee ligament injury. Isaac Babadi is also not included, as the midfielder is allowed to look for a new club.

Despite the fact that Myron Boadu is without a club after the striker's contract expired at PSV, he is traveling with the team to Germany. Boadu is, for now, training with PSV to keep his condition up to standard, and the forward still hopes for a longer stay in Eindhoven.
