Ueda zegt topscorer zijn maar team geen kampioen, ik snap de frustratie. Toch vind ik "over het geheel geen bevredigend seizoen" wel zwak, want CL halen met zo'n dip en dan nog praten alsof het niks is. Ayase had juist meer moeten beslissen.
The fact PSV already looked like they could clinch it halfway through and still finished with the biggest margin ever is insane. Van Persie's hype vs the reality is kinda poetic lol. Watanabe saying "no zadovoljend season" is fair, but it felt PSV were always one step ahead 👀
Tsja, ze kwalificeren wel voor Champions League maar dat is nu eenmaal geen trofee. Ik vind het wel terecht dat Watanabe zegt dat hij meer had kunnen doen, maar het collectief kwam gewoon niet mee in de sprint.

Ueda zegt dat het jammer is dat ze kampioen missen, maar man, jullie stonden zelf ook vaak te laat in de duels. 0-0 op Volendam is dan gewoon het bewijs dat PSV het hele seizoen constant was. 😅
Jammer inderdaad voor Feyenoord, maar 19 punten is geen toeval. Als je zo'n gat laat ontstaan na half seizoen, dan ben je het gewoon kwijt aan PSV.

That 19-point gap is brutal, tbh. Feyenoord started like title favourites and still ended up begging for "positives" in the CL talk. Ayase Ueda and Watanabe are being honest, but it just shows how much PSV controlled the race.
That 5 april moment met Volendam was pure pain voor Rotterdam. PSV one day earlier 4-3 Utrecht, en dan ineens een marge van negentien punten, dat is echt geen toeval.
"Jammer dat we het kampioenschap niet hebben bereikt" is eerlijk wel begrijpelijk... maar dan win je die momenten net niet. Volendam 0-0 was de dag dat het echt moest gebeuren, en ja toen kreeg PSV het cadeau.

19 punten verschil is gewoon pijn doen, Feyenoord moest hopen op pech. Maar ok, jullie hadden wél Champions League gehaald, dat is toch iets positiefs.
