Back to PSV - FC Twente. According to FC Twente club watcher Leon ten Voorde, PSV, with PSV - FC Twente on the way, will be closely following Mats Rots and Ruud Nijstad next summer. Still, he wonders how feasible it is for PSV to sign the two talents, since foreign clubs are also linked to the two defenders.

Still, it sometimes rubs the wrong way—well, that’s just the way it is, you can almost hear Ten Voorde thinking. PSV - FC Twente is also a big match for Ten Voorde. And exciting, because the journalist also, in a way, counts as a fan of FC Twente.

Not all journalists use the kind of language used by Ten Voorde. There’s nothing wrong with that in itself, but Leon ten Voorde of Tubantia nevertheless sometimes makes it very clear that supporting FC Twente.

"Officially, they haven’t contacted us yet, but you can bet that PSV is interested in Nijstad and Rots", Ten Voorde begins in the AD Voetbal podcast. "They’re high on the list, which makes Sunday’s match even more special."

"PSV would preferably bring in the biggest Dutch talents", continues Ten Voorde. "But I wonder whether they can afford these guys. Then they will first have to sell a few players themselves, because these players are going to bring in a lot for FC Twente, should they leave", it sounds like a real Twente fan.

Nijstad and Rots have already for longer been considered two of the biggest talents in the Netherlands. De Eindhovens Dagblad recently confirmed that Rots is an option for PSV. The 18-year-old Nijstad had previously also been linked to FC Barcelona, after he earlier this season managed to win a starting spot. Time will tell, but for Ten Voorde it doesn’t seem to be fast enough yet for both players from FC Twente.
