According to FC Twente club watcher Leon ten Voorde, PSV will be keeping a close eye on Mats Rots and Ruud Nijstad with PSV - FC Twente on the horizon this coming summer. Still, he wonders how feasible it is for PSV to sign the two talents, since foreign clubs are also linked to the two defenders.

Ten Voorde is sharp, critical and sometimes provocative and over the line. Ten Voorde often puts names to both men and horses, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Still, it occasionally rubs the wrong way, but yes, that’s simply part of it, you can almost hear Ten Voorde think. PSV - FC Twente is also a big match for Ten Voorde. And exciting, because the journalist is also quite something of a fan of FC Twente.

Not all journalists use the kind of language employed by Ten Voorde. Nothing wrong with that in itself, but Leon ten Voorde of Tubantia does, after all, sometimes make it clear that supporting FC Twente.

"Officially they haven’t reported yet, but you can be certain that PSV has interest in Nijstad and Rots", Ten Voorde begins in the AD Voetbal podcast. "They’re high on the list, which makes Sunday’s match even more special."

"PSV would of course like to sign the biggest Dutch talents", continues Ten Voorde. "But I wonder whether they can afford these guys. Then they will first have to sell a few players themselves, because these players are going to bring in a lot for FC Twente, if they leave", as sounds like a real Twente fan.

Nijstad and Rots have long been considered two of the biggest talents in the Netherlands. The Eindhoven Dagblad recently confirmed that Rots is an option for PSV. The 18-year-old Nijstad had already previously been linked to FC Barcelona, after he managed to win a starting spot earlier this season. Time will tell, but for Ten Voorde it doesn't seem quick enough to go for both players from FC Twente.
