The attacking midfielder, who last season also made a name for himself as a opportunity striker, has therefore also been included by national team coach Ronald Koeman in the World Cup squad of the Netherlands national team.
At the press conference of last Wednesday, Koeman explained his squad and also gave a reason for calling up Til. ''Because of his performance for his club, his fitness, the type of player'', said the head coach, among other things.

Tbh Theo Janssen is gewoon hype door die WK-selectie, maar Valentijn raast op de samenwerking met Veerman. Beide punten kunnen waar zijn, Til heeft goals ja, maar PSV-ballen wegvallen is een groot risico.
Im glad Derksen brought up Veerman, but the conclusion is weird. Til and Veerman together are a system, not a single dependency.

"Dan hoef je Til er ook niet bij te halen" klinkt grappig maar eigenlijk is het een beetje cap. Als je Till selecteert om zijn rendement, dan los je toch ook de passing uit het systeem op. Anders selecteer je toch nooit iemand die niet exact afhankelijk is van 1 speler. 💀
Driessen zegt "Maar wie gaat die ballen nu op Til geven?" en dat raakt de kern. Bij PSV kreeg hij net het juiste tempo en de juiste mensen in de buurt. In Oranje ligt het spel soms anders, maar dan moet je je aanpassen, niet Til als argument wegzetten. 👀
Til had toch een monsterseizoen, 14 goals en 5 assists in 29, dat is geen toeval. Als Koeman hem pakt op "fitheid en type speler" dan snap ik het, maar die twijfel van Driessen is wel typisch. Tbh ben ik vooral benieuwd wie de passes moet brengen als Til op een andere positie speelt. 🚀⚽

Driessen is acting like Til is only good because Veerman passes to him... but PSV fans know Til creates chances too. Still, i wanna see who supplies those through balls for Oranje without that chemistry.

"Dan hoef je Til er ook niet bij te halen" is echt typisch panelpraat. Imo als Til in Oranje een rol krijgt als gelegenheidsspits of aanvallende 8, dan kan hij wel verschil maken.
