1 min readLuuk de Jong may no longer be a PSV player, but that doesn’t mean he has forgotten the club. The striker left for FC Porto last summer and suffered a serious injury in November, putting the former PSV captain out of action.
De Jong became champion with FC Porto this season and during the celebration of the Portuguese club, a song was played that the striker is well known for. Therefore, De Jong decided to sing along with all his might, which means he did not lose his love for PSV.

Even with the injury in November, you can see why he was so important for PSV. That song choice is basically a public reminder that he still respects the club and its people.
