Watch 1 of 3 | PSV fans lash out after transfer fee announcement for Saibari
1 min readThe biggest outgoing transfer ever is coming up for PSV. The German top club FC Bayern has no doubts about the future of Ismael Saibari. In the meantime, the directors of both clubs are holding feverish talks to get the million-euro deal moving quickly.
Little by little, more and more information is leaking out regarding the amount offered from Munich, and that does not sit well with the necessary PSV fans. This emerges from a roundup on X. Some PSV fans are open to the idea of cashing in 53 million euros for Saibari, but even larger numbers of PSV fans see the overall figure as unacceptable—the offered 53 million euros.
PSV and FC Bayern München are even planning to complete the transfer by this coming Sunday. This coming Sunday, Morocco will play at the World Cup against Brazil, and ahead of that match in particular FC Bayern is aiming for a deal with both PSV and with Saibari. This is reported by the Eindhovens Dagblad.
All parties want to do business quickly, but a number of important agreements still need to be made between the two clubs. Such is the usual course of events surrounding million-euro transfers, but PSV clearly does not seem to be in a rush to have the deal go before the review quickly.

According to Eindhovens Dagblad, Saibari has set his sights on a step to South Germany, to the European top club FC Bayern. Everything still points to a spectacular deal, because Bayern wants to sign Saibari, 'it sounds like. Earlier, however, PSV has indicated that they will only let the Moroccan international leave for 'a top price,' and the PSV management plus Supervisory Board appears to be adhering strictly to that.
PSV and Bayern still need to reach agreement on several details. These include the base amount, the bonuses and the payment date, a local newspaper from Eindhoven reports. As mentioned, on X there is a comings and goings of critical noises directed at PSV's management, saying that it would not do everything possible in the negotiations with the German top club.
The Moroccan attacking midfielder can now present remarkable figures after 142 matches for PSV. In 142 matches, Saibari scored an impressive 42 times and also provided 29 assists. In other words, Saibari is scoring almost at a rate of 1 in 3. Whether the proposed €53 million including bonuses is indeed a fair offer, is difficult to say. After all, Saibari has already been in the picture for a while, even at the age of 25.

Gewoon aftikken stelletje Beckenbauers!
