PSV loan status: “It doesn’t seem like that at the moment.”
1 min readSince his arrival on loan to PSV last summer, Anass Salah-Eddine has been an important link in Peter Bosz’s team. The PSV management therefore would also like to sign Salah-Eddine permanently from his current club, AS Roma.
PSV has also made the Moroccan left-back a contract offer running until 2031, but the defender still hasn’t responded to this offer. Salah-Eddine must ultimately cost eight million euros, and PSV would like to put that amount on the table.
''He is taking it easy. PSV currently feels that there is a greater chance that Salah-Eddine will leave'', says transfer journalist Mounir Boualin of Soccernews.nl in the Transfermind podcast about the offer PSV has made.
Ook Boualin knows that PSV would like to be informed of the option to purchase for the Moroccan international. ''Salah-Eddine knows that. It has been going on like this for months and he would now be taking more of a gamble on a transfer to another club. Of course it could be that that club doesn’t come along and that Salah-Eddine still accepts PSV’s offer, but that doesn’t seem to be the case at the moment'', according to the transfer journalist

Because it is still not always certain whether the Moroccan will also be a player of PSV next season, other names are also being considered. ''Mats Rots, from FC Twente, who is on the list. He is a good player, good on the ball. He is a big, strong guy'', said Boualin.
