Longer stay not ruled out: “The door isn’t quite shut in front of him yet.”
1 min readLast summer, Myron Boadu joined PSV on loan when Alassane Pléa suffered a serious injury. This loan transfer has not turned out to be entirely successful, since Boadu, just like Pléa and Pepi, also had to deal with the necessary injuries.
The chance therefore also seems fairly high that PSV will say goodbye to the striker this coming summer. Even so, Boadu is not yet fully out of the picture for the club management, but the striker will have to wait and see.
With that news, the Eindhovens Dagblad is coming out with it. ''At the moment, the cards for a longer stay by Boadu are not particularly favorable, but the door is not yet completely closed for him,'' the newspaper writes Tuesday morning.
Also due to the fact that Pléa is likely soon to return and it is also still unclear where Ricardo Pepi’s future lies, it is still a question whether Boadu will also be a PSV player next season. “The club will then normally go for a ‘big gun’,” it is said in the event of Pepi’s departure.

After the derby trip to Ajax (2-2), Boadu told the cameras for ESPN himself that the picture has to fit for him. ''If PSV nevertheless comes calling for Boadu at some point during the summer, then the striker must also be able to live with the role that the club expects of him,'' according to the ED.
