Counterfeit fraud revived in Turkey: 'PSV is open to a sale'
1 min readIn the summer of 2024, defender Adamo Nagalo was acquired by PSV from FC Nordsjælland in Denmark. The central defender has so far failed to make much of an impact for Peter Bosz’s team and has to date managed only twelve official appearances for PSV.
At this time, PSV has loaned Burkina Faso’s international to Konyaspor in Turkey. At the Turkish club, the defender is a regular starter.
Because of this, there is a chance that Nagalo will definitively leave PSV. This is reported by PSV watcher Rik Elfrink of Eindhovens Dagblad.
Despite this, PSV will not simply sell the defender. ''The Turks would consider making a bid for PSV. But the Eindhoven club is certainly not planning to let Nagalo go for an apple and an egg,'' Elfrink tells the ED.

The Turkish club will therefore have to put a lot of money on the table to permanently sign the Burkinese, the club watcher for PSV knows. ''PSV is open to a sale, but the Burkinese still represents a transfer value of quite a few million. Konyaspor has not negotiated a purchase option and will therefore have to loosen the purse strings if Nagalo is to be brought in there definitively'', concludes Elfrink.

I like that PSV is being firm about the price. Selling for "an apple and an egg" would be brutal business after paying for him in the first place. If he has transfer value, earn it with a real fee.
Nagalo never really clicked here, so I get why a loan in Turkey makes sense. If Konyaspor are starting him week in week out, you have to wonder if PSV should just cut their losses. But the "few million" price tag feels a bit optimistic, unless he suddenly levels up in Turkey.
