PSV and FC Bayern are definitively in talks about an even higher transfer fee for Ismael Saibari. PSV will go to the transfer market with the necessary millions.

It may not be said openly, but it is naturally a milestone. German outlet BILD reports that the transfer fee, including bonuses, will amount to 55 million euros. That’s a record transfer for PSV.
It was already known earlier that Saibari reached an agreement himself with Der Rekordmeister over a contract through mid-2031. Kompany sees in Saibari a ten, a nine, but also a winger. The international will have to compete with Michael Olise, Lennart Karl, Jamal Musiala, Serge Gnabry and Luis Díaz.
The Eindhovens Dagblad appeared, as is customary to do, not yet entirely certain about the transfer, but by now the regional paper has also caught up and reports that an agreement has been reached. ‘The reports about Saibari, PSV and Bayern Munich continue to follow one another, with gurus claiming agreements. It’s not all that far off, but the parties still need to find each other on a few points. Otherwise, a final agreement would already have been reported. It seems like it will work out,' reads the cautious conclusion of the regional paper.
'Ismael Saibari is making an absolute top transfer to Bayern Munich. The Bundesliga powerhouse and PSV have, in principle, reached an agreement regarding the transfer of the Moroccan international, the Eindhoven Daily Paper also confirms. The regional newspaper speaks of a 'mega amount'.
PSV receives a sum that can amount to as much as 55 million euros and that can be called a record transfer. Even at Saibari, the amount for ‘several million’ consists of bonuses. Last week, Bayern still offered 53 million euros for the 25-year-old attacking midfielder, but after his stellar performance for Morocco against Brazil at the World Cup, it turned out they were willing to add a few million on top.
Incidentally, PSV also wanted to receive 55 million euros for Saibari for his stellar performance for Morocco against Brazil. With the necessary millions, PSV will go onto the transfer market to strengthen the squad after Saibari’s departure. More later.

De voorzichtige toon van Eindhovens Dagblad was wel terecht, maar nu we de 55 miljoen "inclusief bonussen" horen, is het bijna niet meer te ontkennen. Deze transfer geeft PSV financiële adem, maar de echte vraag is of ze Saibari's rol in baltempo en aanspeelkwaliteiten kunnen vervangen. 🔥⚽
Natuurlijk gaat Bayern weer shoppen als niemand kijkt. Dat Olise/Karl/Musiala/Museum aan opties geeft wel aan dat Saibari daar niet zomaar starter wordt. Overigens vind ik het wel grappig dat Bayern nog een paar miljoen bovenop deed na Marokko-Brazilië.
"Het lijkt erop dat het goedkomt"... lol dat Eindhovens Dagblad was dus weer lekker voorzichtig. Maar als Saibari echt een concurrentie moet gaan managen met Olise en Musiala, dan krijgt Bayern er wel meteen druk en kwaliteit bij. 💯⚽
Komt wel heel snel na die 53 miljoen bieding. Tbh begrijp ik het wel na die WK-glansrol vs Brazilië, maar het blijft wrang dat we steeds nét niet iets eerder konden doorpakken om te onderhandelen.
"mega-bedrag" ... ja hoor. Maar ik wil ook weten wat PSV precies aan bonussen kan triggeren, want 55 is vaak zo'n plafondverhaal. Als het grootste deel structureel is, dan is het w echt verdiend.
Als Bayern "definitief" is, dan is dit gewoon peak business van PSV. Maar bruh, Kompany die hem ziet als 10, 9 en flankspeler... dat is meteen een hele dure verliespost als je geen opvolger hebt. Wanneer komt de naam dan?
Tbh het is wel pijnlijk om Saibari kwijt te raken, maar dit is een recordtransfer. Hopelijk gebruiken ze die cash slim voor een echte vervanger op de 10 en een extra flank optie. Anders is het volgend seizoen alweer puzzelen.
55 miljoen inclusief bonussen is echt een record voor ons, echt dikke cash 🔥. Alleen benieuwd hoe snel Bayern het bedrag kan "claimen" met die bonussen, want daar worden vaak rare voorwaarden aan gehangen.
55 miljoen met bonussen voelt als een droomupgrade voor PSV. Als je bedenkt dat Bayern eerst 53 bood, dan is die WK-glansrol echt uitbetaald. Nu alleen nog hopen dat het contractueel allemaal strak rond is.
