Afellay speelde 53 interlands en zat op drie grote toernooien. Voor mij is dat juist genoeg reden om NL-gevoel te hebben, dus zijn keuze wringt. Maar ik kan ook niet doen alsof spelers nooit hun roots volgen, het blijft gewoon emotie bij supporters. ⚽
lol die zin "Die keuze hebben JULLIE zelf gemaakt" komt hard aan. Maar ja, als je zo vaak voor Oranje speelde, voelt het alsnog alsof je wordt ingepikt door de realiteit.

Tbh begrijp ik de frustratie, maar als hij ooit zelf voor Marokko kan kiezen, wie zijn wij dan om te bepalen wat goed is? i guess gewoon pijn bij PSV-fans, want hij hoort in ons collectieve beeld.
tbh dit gaat echt niemand wat aan, maar het blijft raar als je de NL-Jersey zo vaak hebt gedragen. Als je dan voor Marokko kiest is het logisch, alleen de timing voelt voor sommigen als een 'kijk mij' moment. 🔥
