PSV licht de optie in het contract van assistent-trainer Ruud Brood. De assistent van Cocu is daardoor ook volgend seizoen werkzaam bij PSV. ”Dat is goed nieuws, want we werken naar volle tevredenheid samen. We vullen elkaar goed aan en er heerst een prettige sfeer”, aldus Phillip Cocu.
