Schiphol | Next PSV signing arrives in the Netherlands and en route to Eindhoven
1 min readIn addition to Kodai Sano, Filip Kostic will also be assessed by PSV on Wednesday. Kostic arrives on a free transfer from Juventus and, provided everything goes well, will sign a two-year contract with PSV.
That has finally brought PSV the desired successor for Anass Salah-Eddine. In the meantime, the Serbian has arrived at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, as can be seen in footage by transfer journalist Gianluca di Marzio.
The left-back, who between 2012 and 2014 was still playing for FC Groningen, says he is looking forward to his move to PSV. Kostic is especially looking forward to playing in the Champions League with PSV.
''It is very important for me to play in the Champions League again. I hope to be ready as soon as possible to help the team. I promise that I will give everything for the club,'' says the Serb in the video from Di Marzio.

In addition, Kostic also addresses the supporters of Juventus. ''To the Juventus fans, I can only say: thank you for everything. It is truly a fantastic club where I really enjoyed my time. I will keep following them and I will never forget them,'' the left-back said.

That quote is motivation, but i want results. Can he create chances in PSV's system, or is he more of a set-piece and cross merchant? 💀
tbh replacing Salah-Eddine with Kostic for UCL-ready minutes makes sense. He has the mentality and experience, but im curious how he fits if we play more narrow in possession. If he overlaps like at Groningen, itll be fire. 👀
Kostic saying "alles zal geven" is nice, but i just hope Ruud doesnt turn him into another passenger. He should immediately give width and those left-side crosses. Still, two years feels a bit short if he hits.
If this is actually happening, thats a massive upgrade. Kostic being transfer-free from Juve is honestly peak business... and him saying he wants back in the UCL is exactly what we need. 🔥
