Will Rangers FC soon be back with PSV?: “Scots show renewed interest in an unnecessary PSV player again”

Last week, Couhaib Driouech seemed hard on his way to leaving PSV after two seasons to join Rangers FC. At the very last moment, however, the Scots decided to pull the plug on the transfer, which meant Driouech returned to PSV.

Yet according to Sport Witness, there appears to be a chance coming up that the Protestant club from Glasgow will soon make another attempt to sign a player from PSV. According to the British outlet, the Scots are interested in the surplus Adamo Nagalo.

Last month Nagalo was still set to continue his career with the promotable Corum FK in Turkey after the Burkina Faso international had already been loaned out last season to Konyaspor. However, this transfer was called off at the very last moment, meaning the defender is still under contract with PSV.

Now Rangers FC could therefore potentially return to PSV after the aborted transfer of Driouech, to get Nagalo released from the Philips Stadium. The marriage between PSV and the centre-back is, to say the least, not exactly a happy one.

Nagalo arrived in the summer of 2024, having moved from Danish club FC Nordsjælland, but he couldn’t make his mark in Peter Bosz’s squad at PSV. The defender, after all, managed only twelve official matches and more appearances will also not be on the cards for the Burkinese international.
