Stiffly criticized and “blundering” Feyenoord could earn PSV a new million-euro windfall in the coming days: “15 million euros”

1 min read

Feyenoord, the coach, the squad and certainly also the club’s management are finding themselves in a bind. People are openly doubting things in Rotterdam-South. In the offices of the Rotterdam club, it seems they no longer know what to think. What is going on?

Feyenoord has received a second multi-million bid for one of its players. Earlier, a multi-million bid was made for defender Read, which was rejected, but in the meantime a second multi-million bid has also been turned down. This is causing unrest and doubt at the club from the south. PSV may be able to take advantage, provided all issues and uncertainties are cleared away.

PSV has in fact come into view for the club that has set aside a multi-million bid for Feyenoord, which was therefore rejected. It concerns Al Ittihad, which has shifted its attention to Esmir Bajraktarevic. The Eindhovens Dagblad reports this, following reporting by De Telegraaf.

De Telegraaf also goes on the offensive toward Feyenoord’s board, which stacks mistake upon mistake and makes a series of serious blunders. At least, that is the interpretation by among others Valentijn Driessen and Mike Verweij. Al Ittihad is after AS Roma the second club to be put on notice by Feyenoord’s board, a fact that De Telegraaf can’t make sense of at all.

De Telegraaf reported Friday evening that Feyenoord does not want to sell Anis Hadj Moussa. The Rotterdammers can no longer bring in a replacement for the Algerian international and will therefore not agree to the €37.5 million offer. Al Ittihad appears to be switching to PSV for winger Bajraktarevic, who in turn could earn millions with the Saudi top club of Steven Bergwijn.

According to the Eindhovens Dagblad, PSV has not yet received an offer from Al Ittihad, but it does seem to be imminent. “The player’s management is aware of the interest in Bajraktarevic, who has to come up with a considerable amount,” the regional newspaper writes.

'PSV will initially undoubtedly try to focus on an amount between ten and fifteen million euros with bonuses and extras, but it is still uncertain whether that will also actually be the proceeds. Bajraktarevic, however, is a World Cup player and could perhaps bring in more,' according to the Eindhovens Dagblad.

The idea that Feyenoord are refusing Hadj Moussa at 37.5m and still blunder everything else is peak Rotterdam chaos lol. PSV should exploit that and demand real money for Bajraktarevic. 10m would be mid, 15m with add-ons is the move. ⚽

"15 miljoen euro" tbh that feels like the floor, not the ceiling. If PSV even gets talks started with Ittihad, i just want to see quick clarity, because selling a WK-level winger on vibes is how you end up missing out. 🔥

This is exactly how a decent negotiation can flip the whole market. If Feyenoord are turning down offers and then Al Ittihad moves for Bajraktarevic, PSV should stay firm on the 10-15 million range with bonuses, not cave on base fee. If we sell at the right numbers, its a win for everyone at PSV.

If PSV really wants 10-15m for Bajraktarevic then w, thats good business. WK player or not, i hope we are not getting bullied by Saudi money. 👀
