PSV wants to beat Feyenoord again and is once again in talks with NEC

1 min read

PSV appears set to enter into a new million-euro deal with NEC Nijmegen. Multiple sources now report that PSV has spoken with NEC about the transfer of Sami Ouaissa.

Among other things, Voetbalzone reports that PSV is in talks with N.E.C. about the transfer of the 21-year-old winger. That would be meant to outdo Feyenoord, because Feyenoord reached an agreement with Ouaissa earlier this summer. Talks are already underway about PSV snatching the deal.

Feyenoord views Ouaissa as a possible successor to Anis Hadj Moussa, but the embattled Rotterdam side would first have to sell the Algerian before the transfer of Ouaissa could be completed, which could allow PSV to benefit. The French club Lille also recently made itself heard for the NEC forward, but no deal was reached by the parties.

It is still being reported, however, that NEC is not yet satisfied with PSV's approach and handling in relation to the transfer of Kodai Sano. The strained relationship between the two clubs, if that relationship is indeed strained, could in that case play a role in the negotiations regarding Ouaissa.

For Feyenoord, PSV’s interest could be a setback because a personal agreement had already been reached with Ouaissa, but Hadj Moussa is still a Feyenoord player and therefore the Rotterdammers can’t move forward.

If Lille backed off and Feyenoord already had the personal agreement, then PSV must be offering something NEC actually wants. But i hope Feyenoord sells Hadj Moussa soon, otherwise this becomes a long soap opera 🙄

I think PSV is playing a dangerous game with their reputation. If NEC is already annoyed about Sano, they might demand a crazy fee or add conditions for Ouaissa... and then it could backfire 🤡

Let's gooo! If they can get Ouaissa without another drama, it is a big upgrade on the wings 🔥🚀

tbh i get the frustration, but if Feyenoord needs Anis to be sold first then its on them. Still, that NEC "not happy about Sano" thing makes it spicy 👀

As usual PSV tries to swoop in at the last second. If Sami is already agreed with Feyenoord, then this negotiation with NEC feels like proper stealing the target.
