1 min readFollowing earlier interest from SC Cambuur prospect Sami Bouhoudane in PSV talent Sami Bouhoudane, the striker is now indeed on his way to Leeuwarden to continue his career at the club from Leeuwarden. Voetbal International reports this
The talent previously trained earlier still with PSV’s first team, but was told by coach Peter Bosz that he had to return to Jong PSV. Last week, Bouhoudane was still good for a goal during the match PSV - FC Eindhoven (3-0).
Het Eindhovens Dagblad already reported last week that both clubs had reached an agreement and that the transfer was almost complete except for a few details. As a result, the talent still ends up going to Cambuur.
Earlier this summer, PSV still prevented the move of Bouhoudane to the newly promoted side. Back then Cambuur received bad news, but now PSV has given in after all.
According to reports, there is little prospect at PSV for the striker who managed to score seven times last season on behalf of Jong PSV in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie. Bouhoudane still had a contract with PSV until mid-2027 and, if all goes well, is therefore continuing his career in Friesland and signing the striker to a contract through 2029.

De Jong is the type who makes the simple pass look genius, but he needs support behind him. Otherwise we end up chasing the game instead of controlling it. 😅
I actually like the lineup balance, but Tbh the fullback decisions need tightening. When the wingers drift inside, you want overlaps to punish the wide space, not just pass sideways. Brings me hope but also exposes the weak moments when we concede the first pass.
That quote about "pressing triggers" makes sense, but i still saw PSV drop too deep after winning the ball. Lets be honest, if the back line cant step up together, the press just turns into running after the ball. 👀
ngl im worried about the defensive transitions. If PSV lose the ball in the final third, it feels like we give teams a straight run at the box 🤡
"Inside PSV" should be about the small details, not just vibes. When the article says the winger cuts inside early, that only works if the 10 moves into the half-space, otherwise its predictable.

If PSV really want to control games in midfield, they cant keep losing duels in that half space. Madueke looked dangerous though, need more end product from him or else its just vibes 😅🔥
