PSV player on the way out?: ‘Lazio Roma wants to loan PSV forward’
1 min readThere is a chance that Dennis Man, against the closing of the transfer window, will still temporarily leave for a while from PSV. According to the Italian transfer journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Lazio Roma wants to bring the Romanian back to Italy.
Last year, he moved from Parma to PSV for a fee of 9.1 million euros. The winger spent a large part of the season in the starting lineup, partly due to the serious injury to Ruben van Bommel, which meant Ivan Perisic was played on the left flank.
The Romanian alternated good matches with mediocre moments, but his competitor Esmir Bajraktarevic did as well. This season, Man currently has to make do with reserve moments because of Van Bommel’s return.
In addition, PSV is set to strengthen itself with Sami Ouaissa from NEC and, partly because of this, a departure by Man is also a possibility. The same applies to Bajraktarevic exactly.
The Romanian wing attacker still has a contract with PSV until 2029 and has a market value of fifteen million euros. Lazio Roma would therefore now see a move for Man as a good option on the wings and would thus be considering bringing the Romanian international back to Italy.
PSV watcher Rik Elfrink from Eindhovens Dagblad has now confirmed that talks are underway between Man and Lazio Roma. The Italians want the striker only on loan, and PSV initially set its sights on a permanent sale, but partly because there seems to be no prospect of playing time, PSV may still end up giving in.

No way you sell or loan him cheaply. The contract until 2029 and 15m valuation means PSV should hold the line, not panic because Lazio ask for a loan.
Lazio coming for Man again and Bajraktarevic being in the same boat is kinda brutal. "mede door geen uitzicht op speeltijd lijkt PSV mogelijk toch overstag te gaan"... that sounds like we are accepting a youth-sale cycle instead of fixing the rotation.
Man played a lot last year because of injuries, now he is more of a reserve again... so Lazio using that against us is peak football politics. 🤡
The "only on loan" part is interesting. If Man is still not guaranteed minutes with Van Bommel back, PSV basically has to choose between banking on development or cashing in.
That detail about the talks between Man and Lazio is big. They say they only want a loan, and PSV would prefer a sale, but if the playtime is not there, it kind of makes sense... just hope it does not break our rotation too much.

i swear every season ends the same way with Man links. Also, with Sami Ouaissa coming in, someone has to make space, but idk why it has to be Dennis if he is still our only real winger with quality in transitions. 🔥
If Lazio want just a loan, that sounds like PSV keeping control of the next steps. Still, Man getting limited minutes worries me, because when he is on form he actually decides matches.
