PSV officially has talent in: “For me, it was an easy choice.”
1 min readAfter an agreement was reached earlier this week between PSV and FK Bodø/Glimt regarding the transfer of Mikkel Bro Hansen, the Danish top talent has now been officially presented by PSV. The striker signs a contract until mid-2029 and takes over the number 23 jersey from Joey Veerman.
In a press release from PSV, technical director Earnest Stewart is pleased with the signing of the Dane. Bro Hansen is seen as a great talent at the international level.

We see in Mikkel a player with enormous potential and we have every confidence that he can further develop at PSV in the best possible way. For his age, he is already strikingly ''
Despite his age of seventeen years, the striker produced eight goals and three assists in fifteen official matches for FK Bodø/Glimt. ''He has a knack for scoring, moves smartly without the ball, and shows a lot of energy and conviction in his game. In addition, at a young age he has already gained experience at a high level, which says a lot about his qualities and mindset. Mikkel knows very well what he wants, something we also noticed in the many conversations we held in recent times'', the American said.
The Dane has also spoken out in the meantime about his transfer to PSV. ''For me, it was an easy choice when PSV told me about their interest in me. It is a big club and there was a perfect long-term plan laid out for me. And in the past they have proven here that they can deliver on that. Just look at guys like Xavi Simons, Noni Madueke, Ismael Saibari and so on. I will join the first team full-time. At first, I will play matches for Jong PSV, but I’m going to push for as many minutes as possible in the first team. I can’t wait to get started'', said Bro Hansen.

We need more goals from open play, not just transitions. Veerman and Sangare need to be braver with the final pass, otherwise it gets stuck every time.
That quote about "tempo from the first minute" is exactly what i want to hear 🔥 But i worry we'll go too direct and lose second balls. If Luuk and the wingers dont win duels early, this turns into a boring possession loop 🙄
If PSV really want to dominate games, midfield control has to be the priority. Whoever is sitting in front of the back four cannot drift too far, because Ajax-style transitions will punish it fast. Lets see if the lineup matches the plan or its just vibes.
"Inside PSV" eindelijk eens wat focus op the details. The build-up looked smoother when the 6 stays calm and offers the second pass. But we still leak space between the lines, that has to be fixed. 🔥
Tbh im not convinced by the wing setup. We look better when the fullback overlaps and the winger cuts inside, but lately it feels too predictable.
If PSV really wants to play that high line, the midfield has to win duels early. Without the press, Bakayoko-like transitions will punish us fast. 👀
