PSV named as a temporary destination for talent FC Bayern
1 min readIt is clear that PSV is still far from being done on the transfer market. Earlier, Eindhovens Dagblad reported that PSV would like to add at least two more players to the squad and, according to transfer journalist Ekrem Konür, PSV could well end up with FC Bayern München.
In fact, the record champions would like to loan out talent Arijon Ibrahimovic, not related to Zlatan, and PSV is mentioned as a possible option by Konür. In Germany, SV Werder Bremen and SC Freiburg are interested in a loan deal, and the Spanish club Villarreal CF is also mentioned as a possible destination for the loan.
Last season, the midfielder was loaned to FC Heidenheim and has now therefore returned to Munich. Largely due to the fierce competition in midfield, Ibrahimovic currently doesn’t seem to have any prospects of playing time in FC Bayern’s senior squad.
Nevertheless, the Germans still do not want to proceed with a definitive sale of the midfielder. Coach Vincent Kompany is namely impressed by the twenty-year-old Ibrahimovic, but despite this is open to temporarily keeping the midfielder somewhere else.

Moreover, Ibrahimovic still has a contract until mid-2027 and would have a market value of ten million euros. In addition, it would also not be the first time that PSV and FC Bayern do business with each other.
This transfer summer, Ismael Saibari left PSV for the south of Germany, and last year Paul Wanner took the opposite route. In 2023, Malik Tillman initially came to PSV on loan, and in the summer of 2024 he was permanently signed.

Kompany being impressed is nice, but Bayerns midfield competition is brutal. Loan deals can be mid or a banger depending on the plan. Also, 10 million market value and a deal until 2027 means Bayern can still keep him long-term, so PSV better push for an option or guaranteed playing time. 👀🔥
PSV and Bayern doing business again lol... Tillman to PSV, Wanner the other way, now Ibrahimovic loan. But if PSV really wants
If Bayern loan him, good for PSV, but we need more than midfield depth. What position is he supposed to play for Kompany, 6 or 8? That will decide if he actually gets minutes or just rotates.
ngl, sounds logical. Ibrahimovic is young, Bayern want minutes for him, PSV could give him a real role. I just hope it is not another "bench for experience" deal.
