PSV is in the running for a 29-year-old French midfielder and faces strong competition
1 min readPSV would have had its eye on the 29-year-old Adama Camara from Paris FC. That’s what transfer journalist Santi Aouna reports from the outlet Foot Mercato.
The defensive midfielder still has one year remaining on his contract with the Paris-based club and is also attracting interest from several clubs in France. In particular, RC Lens and OGC Nice would very much like to sign Camara.
In addition, the Frenchman can also play as a right-back. The midfielder has now, in the meantime, played 104 matches for Paris FC and, according to Aouna, he would be high on PSV’s list.
How concrete PSV's interest is, however, is not known. Besides interest from France, several clubs from the Middle East would also have kept an eye on Camara.

Camara has 104 games for Paris FC, so hes not some random talent. If he is a DM first, PSV should protect the build-up and not just plug a body at RB. Still, with this competition, fr it sounds like a scouting exercise more than a move. 👀

"Niet aan de orde" is exactly what i feared. if there are also clubs from the Middle East involved, PSV will probably get priced out or just see it as too risky.
Tbh Camara being able to play RB could be useful, but i still worry about PSV buying a 29-year-old when we usually need energy for 2-3 seasons. Lens and Nice also wanting him tells me it wont be cheap.
idk man, 29-year-old defensive mid is only a good deal if he truly fits Slot-? no, the current PSV setup. If they need a real upgrade, go harder for someone younger or a more proven Eredivisie-level engine.
