Noa Lang won’t go back to Ajax unless they decide he can be loaned out.
1 min readMore than a year after Noa Lang left PSV, the chances are fairly slim that Lang will return to Ajax. That is reported by journalist Mike Verweij of De Telegraaf in the podcast Kick-off from that same outlet.
The winger left last year after two seasons at PSV to continue his career at Napoli. Largely due to a strained relationship with coach Antonio Conte, the adventure for the Oranje international in Italy did not turn out as hoped.
At the start of this calendar year, the former PSV player was loaned to Galatasaray in Turkey. In recent weeks, Lang has frequently been linked with a return to Ajax, where the forward made his debut in 2019, but never really managed to break through.
Verweij knows that Ajax is looking for a replacement for Mika Godts, who has left for Paris-Saint Germain. ''I’ve heard a name, but I can’t say it here yet. I need to check it first'', the reporter says.
After that, the journalist goes into the rumors surrounding Lang. ''It’s not Noa Lang. Napoli is asking for 28 million euros for Noa Lang, so it won’t be that. Unless they decide tomorrow that he can be loaned out, but normally he won’t be'', according to Verweij.

Ajax might be searching for a winger, but Lang is not the profile if they need immediate impact. 28 million wage/fees talk is basically a no from the start. tbh glad he is not coming back to NL drama.

Wat een peak soap lol. Ajax dat steeds aan Lang blijft hangen, terwijl PSV hem juist kwijt was door keuzes, speeltijd en ontwikkeling. Als ze Godts vervangen moeten, dan is dit echt geen automatische match.
Lijkt me logisch dat Napoli niet meewerkt. Als je echt wil, huur je hem niet "zomaar", maar met voorwaarden en dat klinkt hier niet alsof die er zijn. Bovendien denk ik dat Ajax gewoon een andere profiele speler nodig heeft dan opnieuw een ex die nooit doorbrak.

tbh ik vond het sowieso al midgeruchten. 28 miljoen voor Lang gaat nergens over als Ajax iemand zoekt voor het "nu".
idk why people keep pushing Lang. as long as Napoli wants 28m, it wont happen. and if ajax needs a Godts replacement, they should move smarter and faster. 🔥
Noa bij Ajax lijkt me gewoon wishful thinking. Napoli vraagt 28 miljoen en dan nog het liefst verhuren, ja succes daarmee... echt te veel gedoe voor een gerucht.
