New acquisition spotted in Eindhoven, medical checkup scheduled

Last weekend, the news broke that PSV is set to strengthen its squad with forward Sami Ouiassa from NEC. After Kodai Sano, Ouiassa will be the second player from Nijmegen to make the move to the national champions this transfer period.

PSV will transfer an amount of around eight million euros to Nijmegen. Earlier, it seemed the winger was on his way to Feyenoord, since the upcoming PSV player would have reached an oral agreement with the Rotterdam club.

Since Anis Hadj Moussa is still under contract at De Kuip, Feyenoord, however, is pulling back from the NEC move and is now signing a contract with PSV. In addition, Ouiassa was spotted on Monday at TopSupport in Eindhoven for the medical examination.

When the medical examination has been passed, the winger will soon be able to call himself a PSV player. This also means there is a chance that Dennis Man or Esmir Bajraktarevic will leave Eindhoven.

The transfer carousel got going rather late at PSV, unlike at rival Ajax. At the beginning of July, PSV presented Sven Mijnans as their first summer signing, but after that it stayed fairly quiet in Eindhoven and that caused unrest among part of the PSV support.

In recent weeks, PSV further strengthened itself with Kodai Sano, Filip Kostić and Lutsharel Geertruida. As expected, Sam Lammers (FC Twente) and Ayoni Santos (Sparta Rotterdam) will also soon be allowed to call themselves a PSV player.
