Italian interest in Noa Lang, Napoli wants to sell former PSV player
1 min readIn recent weeks, Noa Lang has frequently been linked to a return to Ajax. Last season, Lang left PSV for Napoli, but his time in Naples went differently than hoped, partly due to a strained relationship with coach Antonio Conte.
Because of this as well, the winger on loan at the second part of the 2025/2026 season was loaned out to Galatasaray and, in the meantime, the forward has returned to Napoli. Despite Conte leaving and the appointment of Massimiliano Allegri, it seems there is no future for Lang in Naples.
Now transfer journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Atalanta Bergamo would like to take over the former PSV player on loan from Napoli. However, the Neapolitan club wants to sell the winger permanently itself and therefore does not agree with Atalanta at this time.
In addition, it remains to be seen whether Lang himself is interested in a transfer to Bergamo. The winger is said to still want a return to Ajax, but the Amsterdam club can only move for their former youth player once Mika Godts is sold.
Therefore, to date there is still no agreement between Ajax and Lang. Galatasaray was also able to sign the former PSV player permanently, but the Turkish club decided to send the winger back to Italy.

Wat mij betreft komt hij gewoon terug naar PSV, maar blijkbaar wil Ajax eerst Mika Godts verkopen. Die wachttijd gaat hem echt niet goed doen... en Atalanta lijkt nu te willen profiteren 👀
"geen toekomst te zijn voor Lang in Napels" ja daar kan ik inkomen, maar dit is ook hoe zo'n carrière kantelt. Als Atalanta alleen huur biedt en Napoli per se wil cashen, gaat het sowieso spaak tenzij Ajax een tussenslag maakt na Godts. Kortom: PSV-fans blijven toekijken, en Lang blijft shoppen... 😬
Conte en Noa Lang samen was echt geen match, maar ik snap dat Napoli nu geld wil terugzien. Als Atalanta hem alleen op huurbasis wil, dan is dat gewoon nog niet het juiste voorstel.
lol Stel je voor, eerst Ajax-rumors, daarna Italië, en nu weer Italië-gedoe. Maar als Conte echt de oorzaak was, dan was dit voor PSV eigenlijk ook een soort verkoopverlichting achteraf. Hoop dat hij waar hij ook heen gaat eindelijk consistent wordt, want het talent was er altijd.
Als Napoli hem nu wil verkopen terwijl er nog geen plan ligt bij Atalanta, dan ruikt dit naar geld en niet naar voetbal. En eerlijk, als Lang zelf nog Ajax wil, dan is die optie gewoon logistiek kapot met die Godts-verkoop. Dat wordt dus weer een zomer wachten.
Tbh ik vind het vooral grappig hoe Lang bij Napoli weer in een "erbij en eruit" verhaal belandt. Als Conte hem al niet liet floreren, dan zie ik ook onder Allegri weinig zekerheid. Atalanta op huur klinkt dan logisch, maar Napoli die definitief wil verkopen zegt genoeg.
