Eens. Wie kijkt mee? Monaco, Benfica, Inter, Villarreal, Atalanta... dat is niet 'een beetje interesse'. Dit is een echte markt, en PSV gaat nu moeten kiezen: houden voor stabiliteit of cashen en herinvesteren.
"AS Monaco is actief op zoek naar versterkingen voor het komende seizoen" prima, maar ik wil bewijs op het veld, niet alleen interesse. Met die 41 wedstrijden zegt het verhaal genoeg: als Monaco hem pakt, moet PSV meteen een vervanger met dezelfde passing vinden, geen 'vakkenvuller'.
Joey is technisch echt gevaarlijk, maar ik vind het seizoen-statistisch verhaal een beetje onecht zonder context. 15 assists is top, maar ik wil zien hoe vaak hij de bal kwijtraakt in druk en hoe PSV dan collectief herpakt. Als Monaco hem pakt, moeten we meteen iemand hebben die ook tempo en combinatievoetbal brengt.

Tbh dat gesuggereerde verhaal dat het enkel over de trap-om-het-gezicht gaat en niet over de speler klopt natuurlijk niet. Zelfs als er geen opzet is, blijft het een dom moment. Maar ik snap ook wel dat Monaco en die anderen denken: creatieve middenvelder + doorontwikkeling, dat past precies.
Als Monaco echt zo hard gaat, dan is dat voor PSV echt slikken. Maar eerlijk, met 8 goals en 15 assists is hij wel degelijk een target, dus verkoop zou logisch zijn als de cijfers kloppen. Alleen eerst hopen dat die schorsing en die hele AZ-incident nog goed weggeslikt wordt in de kleedkamer.
Joey met 8 goals en 15 assists, dat is peak. Maar als hij nu wegkickt, wie neemt dan die creatieve rol over? Alleen maar shoppen in Frankrijk en Italië is niet genoeg, het moet ook passen in onze opbouw.
Benfica, Inter, Villarreal, Atalanta... man, PSV gaat het alleen voor elkaar krijgen als ze een gekke transfersom vragen. En die overtreding op Meerdink, echt hoe kan je daar nog over discussiëren als hij drie wedstrijden als schikkingsvoorstel kreeg 🤬

Monaco dat Veerman volgt? Tbh ik snap de interesse wel met 15 assists, maar eerst maar eens die schorsing afwikkelen. Als hij straks weer irritant onnodige overtredingen maakt, kost dat Monaco meer dan het oplevert.
