‘He already deserves a million euros for that’ | PSV faces hectic days: ‘Two medical examinations scheduled’

1 min read

The end of the summer transfer window is approaching at breakneck speed. However, it seems that hectic days are on the way at PSV. The Eindhovens Dagblad reports that two medical examinations have already been scheduled.

The regional newspaper is normally somewhat cautious about drawing conclusions, but it nevertheless appears to be the case that there are still two incoming transfers on the agenda. “For the sake of certainty,” the Eindhovens Dagblad notes. Still, it really seems as though we can welcome two new players in the coming days.

The medical examinations 'are not necessarily scheduled for Sami Ouaissa', reports PSV watcher Rik Elfrink on social media. On Friday, it came out that the winger for NEC is close to a transfer to PSV. NEC and PSV would be 'in advanced negotiations'. Ouaissa himself is already in agreement with PSV and, according to De Telegraaf, an offer of 8 million euros is on the table. That is close to the asking price of around 10 million that the Nijmegen club is asking for their skilful attacker.

Ayoni Santos is also being linked to PSV. Stewart has meanwhile reported to Sparta for the talent, but that meets some resistance in Rotterdam-West. Around Sparta, however, there are reports that the talent is on the way to PSV. There is also the Sam Lammers file, which is in the firm interest of PSV. The striker from Twente is on the payroll in Enschede for more than one million euros. 'He already earns one million euros there,' a source told PSV Inside on Friday.

For now PSV refuses to pay the desired millions for Lammers and must negotiate further with FC Twente. In addition, Esmir Bajraktarevic appears to be on his way to a new club. Eintracht Frankfurt and several other German clubs would appear to be showing interest. Joël van den Berg is the subject of particular interest from Celtic and Jordy Bawuah is heading to FC Twente. A calm before the storm, which is still brewing...so much is certain.

Two medical checks "voor de zekerheid" lol, so we basically have a checklist for incoming deals. If Celtic is sniffing around Van den Berg again, PSV should move fast or we get another deadline panic.

Bajraktarevic to Germany, Bawuah to Twente... feels like a full-on reshuffle. I just hope we do not end up with mid-depth signings while the real quality targets stay out.

Twee medische keuringen "voor de zekerheid" klinkt wel heel PSV. Ouaissa dichtbij, Lammers geduldiger onderhandelingen... als ze dit tempo doortrekken hebben we snel 2 nieuwe namen. 🔥

Ouaissa would be a proper upgrade on the wing, idk why they would risk it if the medicals are not locked. Those two keurings look like PSV already has the paperwork ready 😅⚽

"Hij verdient al één miljoen euro daar" ... that is the Lammers issue in a nutshell. I get PSV trying to negotiate, but if he is on 1M at Twente, we should be careful not to overpay later when the window closes.

Two medicals already planned, so we know it is not just rumours this time. If Ouaissa is close and it is basically NEC versus PSV, then that 8 million offer makes sense.
