Has Peter Bosz leaked next transfers? “I know exactly what’s being worked on.”
1 min readPeter Bosz saw on Sunday evening how his PSV were beaten 0-4 by AZ in the battle for the Johan Cruijff Shield. After the match, Bosz went on to the press conference to discuss possible new transfers.
The training master had World Cup spectators Ricardo Pepi, Paul Wanner, Ivan Perisic and Esmir Bajraktarevic start from the bench. The last three mentioned were still allowed to come on as substitutes.
''Whether enough urgency is felt in that area? Yes, absolutely. I also think that those two things have nothing to do with each other. Those guys will come back later after the World Cup, and we very consciously give them three weeks of vacation. They really need that and I know that in advance'', said Bosz with a smile after the match.
This month the coach expects that his squad will be in order. ''So that has nothing to do with urgency. I could complain about it, but that would be completely pointless'', the trainer added.
After that, Bosz also went into possible upcoming transfers. ''The same applies to incoming and outgoing transfers. I’m aware of everything and, thankfully, more than you do these days. I know exactly what is being worked on and what we’re doing'', the 62-year-old from Apeldoorn concluded.
That last claim does indeed seem to be correct, since PSV is on the verge of taking over Kodai Sano from NEC, as transfer journalist Mounir Boualin and PSV watcher Rik Elfrink reported on Tuesday afternoon. Filip Kostic also appears to be on track to join PSV.
Besides Boualin and Elfrink, Voetbal International also reports that Sano is on his way to PSV. ''An agreement between the champions and the midfielder himself was never an issue; Sano would like to make the move to PSV. Normally, he reports to Eindhoven quickly for the medical examination and the signing of his contract. Sano is currently in Greece for the match against Olympiakos with NEC in the preliminary rounds of the Champions League, although it is still unclear whether he will play,'' writes VI.

Wie komt eerst: Sano voor de medische, daarna pas de rest? 👀 Als Bosz "meer dan jullie, tegenwoordig" zegt... dan moet hij ook eens iets laten zien op het veld, want dit was echt geen peak zondag. Hopelijk begint de selectie volgende maand eindelijk op elkaar ingespeeld te raken. 🔥
If Sano is in Greece with NEC vs Olympiakos, prima, laat hem eerst daar klaar zijn. Alleen wel hopen dat PSV niet weer wacht tot iedereen fit is, want Bosz kan zeggen dat hij alles weet, maar resultaten moeten het bewijzen. 💯

Sano bijna van NEC, oké. Maar als Kostic ook komt, dan verwacht ik direct een upgrade op tempo en voorzetten. Anders blijft het gewoon patchwork en geen oplossing. ⚽
Sano op weg en Kostic lijkt te landen, dat is in elk geval actie. Alleen ik vraag me af of we echt genoeg bodies hebben achterin, want 0-4 laat zien dat pressing en organisatie echt niet klopten. Als het alleen om aanvallers draait, is het risico groot.
Bosz: "Ik weet precies waar aan gewerkt wordt". Als dat waar is, waarom zag het er dan zo mat uit? Ik wacht op Sano en Kostic, maar we moeten ook meteen balans hebben in die 0-4 wedstrijden.
"Ik weet precies waar aan gewerkt wordt" oké, maar waar was dat tegen AZ? 😂 Ik ben wel benieuwd hoe Bosz Sano wil gebruiken, want NEC heeft hem vast niet zonder reden populair gemaakt. Als Kostic ook komt dan is het qua balans tenminste logisch.
Die uitleg over WK-gangers snap ik best. Maar nogsteeds, als je met Pepi, Wanner, Perisic en Bajraktarevic van de bank start, dan moet je toch minimaal een plan hebben dat AZ niet zo vrij laat staan. Nu is het vooral schade beperken en hoop op versterkingen.
Tbh Bosz klinkt alsof hij echt alles in control heeft, want AZ kreeg 0-4 om de oren en dan zegt hij "ik weet precies waar aan gewerkt wordt". Als Sano en Kostic komen, moet het wel meteen beter, anders blijft het vooral mooie woorden.
Pepi, Wanner, Perisic en Bajraktarevic vanaf de bank, snap ik wel met WK-planning... maar tegen AZ moet je soms gewoon scherp starten. 👀
0-4 tegen AZ en dan zegt Bosz dat transferurgentie niet met vakantie te maken heeft... tbh klinkt alsof we te laat zijn om nog te kunnen bijsturen.
