French competition for PSV in fight for NEC’s striker
1 min readIn addition to Kodai Sano, PSV is hoping to add another player from NEC to the squad. VoetbalZone reported on Sunday afternoon that the reigning national champions are interested in winger Sami Ouaissa, and according to that outlet, talks are already underway between PSV and Ouaissa.
The attacker of NEC has, according to Voetbal International, been in personal agreement with a move to Feyenoord for some time now. The Rotterdam club are, for the time being, not doing business with the Nijmegen side since Anis Hadj Moussa is still active in De Kuip.
In addition, there is also the question of whether Feyenoord can put the desired amount from NEC on the table. The club management of Nijmegen Eendracht Combinatie would demand an amount of eight to ten million euros.
Now French LOSC Lille also has concrete interest in picking up Ouaissa from De Goffert. That reports the French outlet Foot Mercato, which also already mentioned the interest of the Lille club in Feyenoorder Gjivai Zechiël.

The attacker himself would rather take a step up into the top three in the Netherlands, but to date Ouiassa is still under contract with NEC. Ouaissa, according to VoetbalZone, is said to be heading for a move to PSV despite his personal agreement with Feyenoord.

"talks are already underway" then please close it. If Ouaissa truly prefers PSV now, go get him and let Feyenoord wait with Hadj Moussa. Wingers win games in the Eredivisie, no cap 🔥🚀
8-10 million for NEC? 💀 PSV need to be smart, if he is not a guaranteed starter its risky. Still, watching Sano and a new wide man would be peak football... 👀
idk man, sounds like he already agreed with Feyenoord, so why would LOSC or PSV suddenly win this? If the only real edge is contract status, that is not a great look.
Ouaissa is exactly the kind of winger PSV needs, pace + directness. But if Feyenoord is also after him and wants 8-10m, PSV better not lowball again.
