Cambuur shows interest in PSV talent again
1 min readLast month, the PhD candidate Cambuur came knocking on PSV’s door to ask about Sami Bouhoudane. Bouhoudane even seemed on his way to continuing his career in Leeuwarden, but PSV’s club management prevented it at the last moment.
Now Voetbal International reports that the promoted team is going to make a new attempt to bring PSV talent to Friesland. In recent weeks, Bouhoudane has still trained with PSV 1, and the club can therefore still leave.
''The start of the preparations was used to see talent at work up close. This week, however, it was decided that the striker had to return to the reserves'', writes VI about it.
Bouhoudane still has a contract with PSV until 2027. Last season, the forward managed to impress in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie on behalf of Jong PSV.
The striker was good for seven goals and, partly because of that, Cambuur developed interest in the attacker. An earlier offer from the Friesians was rejected by PSV.

Tbh als PSV hem echt wil houden, dan moeten ze die motivatie ook in speeltijd omzetten. Anders is een deal met Cambuur gewoon de beste optie om zijn ontwikkeling door te trekken. 💯⚽
I think PSV played this right initially by preventing the move, but now Cambuur is back and he is training with PSV 1 again. Decision time: either integrate Bouhoudane soon or loan him, because sitting on the edge for months helps nobody. 👀
7 in the KKD is not nothing, ngl. If Cambuur offers proper game time, PSV should negotiate rather than shut it down automatically. 🔥⚽
Ngl, if PSV rejected an earlier bid, it has to be more than hope. With his contract until 2027, why risk losing him for free later if he keeps training and then goes back again?
Cambuur heeft eerder geboden gekregen en PSV wees dat af. Logisch, want zeven goals in de KKD is geen toeval. Maar als hij de komende weken weer bij de beloften staat, dan voelt een tweede poging van Cambuur als voorspelbaar. 🔥

Cambuur keeps knocking, fair enough, they saw the 7 goals. Still, PSV shouldnt block development just to say no. Let him play minutes, not just be a visitor.

lol gewoon afwachten en dan alsnog verhuren. Contract tot 2027 is mooi, maar als je hem nooit laat spelen gaat het doelpuntgevoel ook slijten. 🤡
7 goals bij Jong PSV en dan ineens weer interesse... terecht. Toch vind ik het raar dat hij nu terug moet naar de beloften, terwijl hij juist geprofileerd is voor meer minuten. i would rather see hem 10-20 minuten in de Eredivisie.

Als Cambuur weer aanklopt om Sami Bouhoudane snap ik het wel. Maar als PSV hem zoveel heeft laten meedoen met PSV 1, dan moet die kans toch eerst afgewogen worden. Terug naar de beloften deze week voelt als een stapje terug.
