Xavi points to Ajax - PSV

I have a good relationship with Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Jordi Cruijff'', the former footballer said.

"Dat was Champions League-niveau"... ja hoor, net alsof we niet met bloed zweet en kansenavond bezig waren 😂💯 Wie zei dat Ajax alleen maar liep te janken? Dit was gewoon winnende PSV energie, peak.
Ngl, ik ben benieuwd hoe Xavi dit Europa-verhaal gaat vertalen richting Oranje. Als hij de Eredivisie al top noemt door Ajax - PSV, dan moeten we eigenlijk ook met meer lef tegen Duitsland kunnen. 👀
Ruben van Bommel eruitpikend "in goede vorm, dus hij zit erbij" is wel het soort herkenning waar ik blij van word. Wel benieuwd hoe PSV-ritme zich vertaalt naar Oranje, want Nations League is vaak iets grimmiger.
Joey Veerman weer terug na ruim twee jaar, ik snap de gedachte. Als Xavi vooral naar speler en intensiteit kijkt, dan past dat verhaal wel bij Joey, hij kan tempo geven in de opbouw.
"Maar ik geef niks om de club"... bruh, oké Xavi, maar wij doen wel alsof dit een PSV-jaar is 😂. Die passie en intensiteit waar hij het over heeft, dat zagen we echt in dat 1-3 duel.
I like dat hij niet over clubs praat, maar over spelers en intensiteit. Toch vind ik wel dat Joey Veerman terughalen en van Bommel "in goede vorm" zetten een heel duidelijke PSV-signatuur heeft. Wat mij betreft is dat vertrouwen terecht.

Woh, Xavi die Ajax-PSV "Champions League-niveau" noemt. Dat zegt genoeg over hoe goed PSV het deed. 🔥
