These PSV players may be in action on Friday
1 min readIn Europe, the first duels in the Nations League were played on Thursday evening. On Friday evening, a few more matches will follow.
There is also a reasonable chance that some PSV players will take the field. In addition, PSV icon Mark van Bommel will also make his debut as the head coach of Belgium.
The Red Devils play against four-time world champion and two-time European champion Italy. For Van Bommel, this will be the first time that the native of Maasbracht will stand on the touchline as head coach of our southern neighbors.
Alongside this top fixture, the match Poland - Bosnia-Herzegovina is also on the schedule. For the Bosnians, there is a chance that right winger Esmir Bajraktarevic will be in action.
Half a year ago, Bajraktarevic was still the hero of the Balkan country, since the PSV player fired Bosnia to the World Cup by scoring in the decisive penalty shootout against Italy. This season, it seems the winger at PSV has to be content mostly with a spot behind Ivan Perisic and Ruben van Bommel.
The same also applies to the Romanian right winger Dennis Man. Man will also be in action with Romania on Friday evening during the Nations League, and the Romanians will play against Sweden, which at last World Cup was also one of the opponents of the Netherlands team in the group stage.
On the other side of the world, current captain Mauro Junior may be making his debut for the Brazil national team. The Seleção plays on Friday afternoon at 12 o'clock Dutch time in the Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville a friendly match against Australia.

Wie kijkt mee? Poland - Bosnia has that Bajraktarevic redemption vibe after the penalties vs Italy. Whether PSV fans like it or not, hes dangerous when he gets space. 💯
Mauro Junior for Brazil... go on lad. If he gets even 20 minutes at that friendly vs Australia, thats a big confidence boost. 🔥
Dennis Man playing Nations League again, and still behind Perisic and Ruben van Bommel at PSV. Dont get me wrong, Man is talented, but rotation like this will hurt his rhythm. 👀
Mark van Bommel debut as Belgium coach vs Italy is massive. Im curious if they let him play brave football or if he parks the bus after that kickoff energy...
If Bajraktarevic starts vs Bosnia, thats a nice moment for him. But tbh he shouldnt be wasting his minutes behind Perisic, i want him more free on the wing.
