These players played for both PSV and Rangers FC: Is a year after a million-pound transfer back to PSV realistic?

Couhaib Driouech is virtually certain to be a player of Rangers FC as the Scots have reached an agreement with PSV for a definitive transfer of the forward. This means Driouech will not be the first player to play for both clubs.

In the past, several footballers have played for both PSV and Rangers FC. PSVInside lists a number of them.

In the 2022/2023 season, Malik Tillman was loaned by FC Bayern München to Rangers FC. That season, Tillman played for the Scots against PSV in the Champions League qualifying round. In the meantime, it can safely be concluded that Malik Tillman is unhappy in Leverkusen, which is why PSV is being linked with a return. Financially, it seems like a utopia, but perhaps something could be possible through a loan arrangement.

Even in the 2005/2006 season, the American won the league title with PSV, but partly due to intense competition on the wings, Beasley was never an undisputed starter. Via a loan to Manchester City in 2006/2007, the former footballer left for Rangers FC in 2007.

After three years in Glasgow, Beasley left in 2010 for Hannover 96, moving to Puebla FC in Mexico a year later. After three years, the American returned to his home country to play for Houston Dynamo, and in 2019 Beasley ended his career.

In 1992, FC Twente signed Arthur Numan on loan to PSV. In 1996/97, Numan won the national title as captain of PSV, while a year earlier the KNVB Cup had been claimed.

After the 1998 World Cup, where Numan finished fourth with Oranje, the born Heemskerker left for Rangers FC and won three league titles there in the battle against bitter rival Celtic. In 2003, Numan ended his career.
