Racist Ajax fan SICK of defeat against PSV: 'I'm totally obsessed'
1 min readDespite his short spell in the past at PSV, Andy van der Meijde does not hide his love for Ajax. As a footballer, Van der Meijde had a good period at Ajax and last Saturday too, the former footballer was watching the match against PSV in an Ajax shirt.
After the end of the duel, Van der Meijde was therefore also completely annoyed when Peter Bosz's team managed to win 1-3 in Amsterdam. At halftime, PSV were trailing 1-2 after a world-class goal by Lutsharel Geertruida in stoppage time in the first half.
Ruben van Bommel's infringement on Aaron Bouwman was, after the match, the biggest topic of conversation. Despite this, Van der Meijde believes PSV is the rightful winner and, at the same time, the analyst is annoyed by the fact that Ajax lost.
''I'm pretty fucked up... I'm a supporter of Ajax, so I'm completely immersed. But I also think that PSV deserved to win'', says the former footballer on his own YouTube channel.

Former footballer Leo Koswal shares the opinion of Van der Meijde. ''Just leave out that 'think'. PSV simply deserved to win,'' Koswal said.
Presenter Wilfred Genee saw a disappointing second round for the Amsterdam team. ''The only thing is that Ajax had the good chances in the first half, at 1-1. If they can press on from there, then you have a different match. But the second half still felt a bit against me'', said Genee.

"PSV Inside" saying the defence is the key for points is fair, but our build-up has to match that. If the centre backs pass under pressure like last time, we will keep giving cheap chances away. We need quicker switches and more tempo through the first line. 🚀⚽
Wie kijkt mee? 👀😂 I feel like the article underestimates how hard it is to keep the shape when the fullbacks jump forward. One missed press trigger and suddenly we are defending 2v2 in our own half.
Our best moments came when we actually switched play fast. If we slow it down, the opponent sets their block and Sangare/Veerman gets stuck receiving under pressure. Need more speed in the next game, no cap.
Ngl the PSV Inside bit on how we should press higher makes sense. With the midfield closer to the ball, Bergwijn/Hackpo-type runs become way more dangerous. If we start sitting too deep, those transitions will kill us.
"psv inside" better be showing why our right side was exposed. that winger needs to track back immediately, otherwise it becomes chaos every time the fullback goes. 🔥
tbh i like the idea of the buildup, but we cant keep giving the ball away in central areas. de jong doing his job or not, the double pivot has to stay compact. 💀
If PSV really wants to press higher, they need Bruma or Tillman to do more off-the-ball work. Otherwise it turns into a 50-50 battle in midfield and we get punished on the break. 👀⚽
