PSV will not be able to call on these players on Sunday afternoon.

1 min read

Next Sunday, PSV face in matchday 7 the always difficult away fixture at FC Twente. Peter Bosz’s side kick off at 14:30 in Enschede and hope to go into the international break as league leaders.

In addition, as is well known, Bosz at De Grolsch Veste cannot call on Jerdy Schouten and Alassane Pléa. Schouten is ruled out until at least the beginning of 2027 due to a serious injury, and Pléa also will not be available until the end of this month.

Also newcomers Sami Ouaissa and Sam Lammers are not yet in action on Sunday afternoon. That means Lammers therefore cannot make his return in the PSV kit against his former employer, where the forward has ended up on the sidelines, partly due to the arrival of Wout Weghorst.

Defenders Adamo Nagalo and Killiann Sildillia will also be unavailable on Sunday afternoon. The latter has been ruled out for the coming months and has recently undergone surgery, meaning the Frenchman may no longer see action for PSV for the rest of this calendar year.

For the rest, it appears the coach can draw on a fully fit squad. The match FC Twente - PSV is led on Sunday afternoon by referee Serdar Gözübüyük.

Curious who the article thinks is the key man in midfield, because it comes down to tempo. If we lose control there, our defense ends up doing overtime. 100% for intensity though. 🚀

"Inside PSV" but i need inside the box finishing too. That chance conversion has been mid lately, dont care how good the patterns look. 💀

Ngl if they keep forcing it through the middle, it will be a long night. I want to see better switch plays to the wings, Lozano-type directness, and more shots from the edge. Give me something to celebrate, not excuses. 🚀

"must be brave" is exactly right, but bravery without end product is just wasted energy. If the fullbacks stay high, teams will punish that gap, especially on counters. No sloppy defending tonight please. 💀

Ngl the article highlights the press, but i still feel we need better triggers. Too many times we chase the ball and then the second ball is free for them. 🔥

Wie kijkt mee? I swear every time PSV slow it down, the opponent gets comfortable and starts dictating the tempo. We need faster decisions in the final third. 🙄

PSV should play faster in transition, especially with the fullbacks overlapping. When we hesitate, teams like Ajax just swarm us and youre stuck defending too deep. 👀

That midfield setup sounds a bit too cautious to me. If Xavi Simons is the spark, you need runners around him, otherwise it turns into sideways passing. 0-1 home vibes waiting to happen. 👀

If PSV are really thinking about leaning on the press like that, they better win the second balls. Tillman and Veerman have to be ready to turn pressure into chances, not just chase shadows. 🔥

If PSV is going back to that same build-up with slow passes into midfield, youre gonna get punished. I wanna see more directness from the wingers, not endless side-to-side.
