PSV striker praised at home: 'Showed his magic'
1 min readEsmir Bajraktarevic was Monday evening important for Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Bosnians won 2-4 against Romania.
In addition, PSV player Bajraktarevic was responsible for two assists. On the Romanian side, PSV teammate Dennis Man was missing; he was on target just last Friday against Sweden.
In the Bosnian media, Bajraktarevic in any case can no longer be criticized after his performance in the Romanian capital Bucharest. ''Bajraktarevic was one of the standouts in the second round of the Nations League, in which Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated Romania 4-2 in Bucharest. Bajraktarevic finished the match with two assists, thereby confirming his excellent form'', reports Sportske.
At Reprezentacija, attention is also drawn to the winger. ''Bajraktarevic delivered a cross and Gigović headed the ball into the Romanian goal. Bajraktarevic gave a fantastic pass, after which Ermin Mahmić headed in the fourth goal for our national team'', that is how it sounds.
At SportSport, they are also lyrical. ''After a beautiful run, Bajraktarevic once again provided an assist, and this time the goal was scored by Mahmić. Bajraktarevic showed his magic'', the outlet is impressed.
In neighboring country Croatia, attention is also paid to the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the PSV player is also the focus. ''The two great wingers Bajraktarevic and Alajbegović are the two youngest and biggest stars of this national team'', according to Sportske Novosti.

I like this story, but I want to see the consistency. International games are perfect, yet PSV's intensity is different. If Bajraktarevic combines that "fantastic pass" with better end-product, he could become a key piece fast.
From the quotes it sounds like he is doing the work on both the cross and the killer pass, plus Bosnië created multiple goals around his actions. If PSV can structure the buildup to put him into those same situations, it could be a big boost for the team.
two assists for Bajraktarevic in Bucharest, that is actually huge 🔥. If he keeps feeding chances like that, PSV will be spoiled.
Two assists, 2-4 away, and the Bosnian media going full hype... fair enough lol.
