PSV paid millions of euros: “From three options to again no options”

It’s all not much. We’re obviously talking about the striker position because just like a year ago Ricardo Pepi got injured, after which attention shifted to the remaining options. Those options are named Guus Til and Sven Mijans. That’s about it, because Pléa and Lammers are not fit either. Still not, that is to say.
Peter Bosz's side had to deal with two early setbacks on Sunday in the Eredivisie top clash against FC Twente. Not only did the Tukkers go ahead quickly, just beforehand Ricardo Pepi also had to withdraw with an injury, and that doesn’t look good.
The American striker was preferred over Sven Mijnans, who last week still recorded a perfect hat-trick. After just seven minutes, however, it became clear that he couldn’t go on. His injury appears to be a serious muscle injury.
PSV paid millions of euros for Lammers and Ouaissa, but so far has gotten nothing out of it.
Yet another setback, just like last season. Alassane Pléa and Sam Lammers also aren’t fit, and that can be called into question after millions of euros were transferred to Nijmegen and Enschede. The new signing Mikkel Bro Hansen is available, but his age and experience are meager to say the least.

"miljoenen euros" voor spelers die klaarblijkelijk niet beschikbaar zijn op het moment dat het moet. Als Pepi serieus uitvalt en Mijans ook, dan gaat Bosz weer terug naar improviseren en dat is tegen Twente gewoon vragen om problemen ⚽
haha rivals say it like this: PSV betaalt miljoenen, maar levert vooral wisselstress. Bro Hansen is nog te jong qua ervaring, en als Pléa en Lammers niet fit zijn, dan is "selectie" gewoon een woord zonder inhoud 💀
Bosz zegt dat er nog opties zijn, maar in de praktijk is het dan: hopen dat iemand het redt. Je krijgt twee vroege dompers tegen Twente en dan moet je telkens opnieuw puzzelen... dat kost punten 👀
Wacht even, Mijnans had vorige week een hattrick en nu gelijk weer eruit. Als die spierblessure serieus is, dan heb je dus alweer een spitspositie probleem in de kern, echt frustrerend 😤
i snap dat blessures erbij horen, maar dit stapelt zich nu. Lammers en Pléa niet fit, terwijl PSV miljoenen betaalde, en dan moet Bro Hansen het oplossen... tbh te dun.
"Van drie opties naar wéér géén opties" is echt ziek zeg. Als Pepi al na 7 minuten uitvalt en Til/Mijans ook staan te kwakkelen, dan ligt die transferstrategie wel open.
