First images of PSV player with national team
1 min readMauro Junior is set to make his debut for Brazil. The PSV captain has been selected for the Seleção by national team coach Carlo Ancelotti.
The Brazilians play two friendly matches against the national teams of Australia and India. For Mauro, it is the first time he is allowed to report to the national team.
Earlier, Ancelotti provided text and explanation about why the national coach decided to take the PSV player along. ''He is a winger-defender who likes to play inside, sometimes very offensively with a lot of quality. He is a left back that I don't really know that well,'' the Italian said, among other things.
Meanwhile, the defender and midfielder is fully training with the Seleção. On the social media platform X, the Brazilian fan account PSV BR shares photos showing the PSV player during training with the national team.
Brazil plays Friday afternoon at 12 o'clock Dutch time against Australia in Townsville. Next Tuesday, this fixture is again scheduled for 12 o'clock Dutch time and that match will then be played again in Brisbane.
On Saturday 3 October, the match with India is on the calendar. This match is played in the Indian city of Calcutta and starts at 4 p.m. Dutch time.
