ESPN analyst impressed by PSV: “It’s special”
1 min readAfter an early 1-0 deficit, PSV straightened up at De Galgenwaard and ultimately trounced Peter Bosz's team, beating FC Utrecht 1-6. It took until the 75th minute for PSV to take a lead in terms of score over the Domstedelingen.
This was also seen by ESPN analyst Marciano Vink. Vink says after the match on ESPN that the analyst was impressed by the attacking play of Bosz's team.
Even the attacking qualities from the bench can earn a lot of praise from the former footballer. ''The power that PSV has and the ease with which they play. Bouhamdi comes on for Van Bommel, who scored a fantastic first goal. But Bouhamdi takes control of the game and lays on passes, two beautiful assists'', Vink says.
Also about the goals after the 1-3 by Mauro Junior, the former PSV player is full of praise. ''And how they were finished off… the goal of Mijnans, the goal of Dest, the goal of Til. It's special. It's really beautiful; it's footballing, truly a joy to watch. Especially when it becomes so incredibly dynamic,'' the analyst says.
In addition, Vink also sheds some light on Sergino Dest. Dest seemed to be on his way out this summer since the American had a release clause in his contract and, moreover, had expressed a desire ahead of the World Cup at home to make another transfer.
Despite this, the wing defender at PSV seems to be staying. ''In particular, Dest is the one who swings over. You can see the communication between those players really clearly from above, how streamlined that attack machine is. Then it is difficult for an opponent, because they come from all corners. Dest leek te vertrekken door die clausule, en nu blijft hij toch shinen, wat een wending. Ik snap Vink wel: de communicatie bovenin is gesmeerd en iedereen komt uit elke hoek, maar verdedigend moet je als PSV fan ook even scherp blijven.
"Het is bijzonder" is het enige juiste woord tbh. Mijnans, Dest, Til, daarna nog eens die dynamiek, echt peak PSV. En Dest met die overklappende actie, hoe moeilijk wil je het maken voor Utrecht? 💯

Marciano Vink heeft gelijk: die power en het gemak waarmee we spelen, dat zie je niet vaak. Bouhamdi erin en meteen het spel naar zich toe, en dan ook nog twee assists. Echt peak Bosz-ball.
De manier waarop we na die vroege 0-1 gewoon doordrukten was echt klasse. Dest, Til, Mijnans... die eerste 3-4 goals waren gewoon genot. 🔥
1-0 achter en dan zo'n 1-6 neerzetten is echt statement voetbal 🔥. Jammer dat het pas na minuut 75 qua score echt losging, maar daarna werd het wel compleet gecontroleerd.
