Criticism of Stewart | PSV players don’t hold back: “All in all, we’ve got a fantastic team again”

Just before halftime, PSV came through to win 1-2 via debutant Lutsharel Geertruida, and Geertruida, just like Kodai Sano, is getting plenty of praise from both former players. ''I think Sano is also the best signing we made. All in all, we still have a fantastic team,'' Willy says.
Still, René does not expect PSV to head to the 28th national title with ease. ''It may well become a battle between four teams, with Ajax, Feyenoord and AZ,'' said René.
Willy shares the vision. ''The competition is a lot stronger than last year, and that can only be good for Dutch football. We really don't have a Mickey Mouse league anymore, and we did last year'', Willy concludes. In short, De Kerkhof's brothers are indirectly praising Stewart's summer work, who in recent months received very unjust criticism regarding incoming transfers from the number of PSV fans.

Ajax kregen kansen, PSV profiteerde. Lol, precies waarom dit zo lekker voelt als ze zegt "verdiende overwinning", want het oogde niet alsof we geluk hadden.
René heeft gelijk dat het geen walk in the park wordt. De concurrentie is inderdaad harder dan vorig jaar, en dat is goed, maar je voelt ook meteen de druk.
"Alles bij elkaar hebben we toch weer een fantastisch elftal" klopt wel, maar ik blijf kritisch. Als Geertruida en Sano dit niveau elke week halen, dan is het geen discussie meer.
Tbh René en Willy zitten er goed in, geen Mickey Mouse competitie meer. "strijd tussen vier ploegen" klinkt als realisme, en ik zie Ajax echt niet meer als pushovers. 🔥💯
Vier ploegen strijd? Tbh dat klinkt realistisch. Ajax, Feyenoord en AZ gaan niet ineens fluiten voor ons, dus we moeten blijven stappen maken.
Willy zegt dat Sano de beste aankoop is, en i mean ja. Met die keuzes en discipline voelt PSV weer als een echte ploeg, niet alleen losse flitsen.
"Alles bij elkaar hebben we toch weer een fantastisch elftal" is echt de juiste vibe. Sano lijkt bij PSV meteen te passen, maar ik blijf wel hopen dat we niet te veel energie weggeven tegen druk van Ajax.
Geertruida voor rust 1-2 en daarna 1-3, dat zegt alles. En lol als iemand Stewart de schuld gaf, want dit is gewoon een team dat staat.
1-3 in Amsterdam en dan zegt Stewart eindelijk niks in de rookgordijnen. Geertruida die net voor rust scoort, dat is peak PSV.
