Ruud Gullit criticizes PSV interview and gets fans’ support: “Let them just carry on”

Ruud Gullit was on Thursday evening together with Boudewijn Zenden and Helene Hendriks present for Ziggo Sport at the match PSV - Shakhtar Donetsk (1-1) in the UEFA Champions League. After the match, Gullit was not pleased with the way Ruben van Bommel was interviewed by reporter Sam van Royen, who once again started by bringing up the incident involving Aaron Bouwman during the match Ajax - PSV (1-3) from last weekend.

Still, Van Royen receives support from colleague Hendriks. ''I understand you, but I do think it’s relevant. I also want to know what he thinks about it'', the presenter said.

Boudewijn Zenden disagrees with Hendriks. ''Relevant is the first reaction and then it’s done. I also know Ruben personally and I also know that it was never intended that way. At the time it happened, he was already aware of his guilt. He immediately offered his apologies'', said Zenden.
