ESPN commentator: “PSV victory flattered”

Just after Ruben van Bommel's goal, a magnificent strike, it was on X that the commentator on duty for FC Utrecht - PSV could have reacted a bit more enthusiastically. That’s all for the commentator on duty, for now.

PSV gave FC Utrecht plenty to think about after a real football show. Peter Bosz's side showed from minute one what it had planned at De Galgenwaard. PSV effectively put FC Utrecht in disarray

PSV fell behind in the Galgenwaard stadium fairly quickly due to shooting from Flamingo. Ruben van Bommel, Guus Til (2X), Mauro Júnior, substitute Sven Mijnans, and Sergino Dest restored the balance of power with six scored goals.

After the break, it took a little while before Peter Bosz’s men were able to convert their superiority into goals. In Utrecht, the potential of this squad was particularly evident. The bench is strong, the bench is deep, and so substitute Sven Mijnans could also make his mark.

His penalty, after a foul by goalkeeper Vasilios Barkas on Paul Wanner, struck hard against the inside of the post. Almost immediately after that, Mijnans still scored brilliantly, from the edge of the sixteen into the far corner.

Thanks to the impressive victory, PSV now has ten points after four matches and has already scored fifteen goals. Back to the commentator on duty. He really said it after the final whistle: after 66% possession, 555 successful passes, and fourteen shots on target. 'PSV's win is somewhat flattering,' after which the best man nevertheless recovered somewhat in his commentary by stating that FC Utrecht had not had a shred of chance against an extremely dominant PSV.
