Despite a win over Sparta Rotterdam, Bosz is still critical

PSV took over first place on Sunday evening after a 4-1 victory at home against Sparta Rotterdam. Peter Bosz's team fell behind early 0-1 because of a blunder by goalkeeper Matej Kovar, but they restored order before halftime with goals from Sven Mijnans and Kodai Sano.

In the second half, the visitors still had a number of chances to make it 2-2, but in the end PSV ran away to a 4-1 victory at the Philips Stadion thanks to two goals by Sven Mijnans. After the match, Bosz was still not entirely satisfied with the game.

In doing so, the coach in particular was critical of the way PSV went into the equalizer. “Well, it wasn’t top football. It was down to us. We were playing against a team that dropped back en masse. Despite the fact that PSV has already scored 22 goals in the Eredivisie, the born resident of Apeldoorn believes that it still has to be better. ''It’s nice that we have so much scoring power. But it has to be better. Whether we keep it up next week? We’ll see. There’s still a whole week between'', Bosz said.
