Bosz targeted again: 'Suddenly, for years, PSV blood has been flowing through his veins'
1 min readLast Saturday, after Ajax - PSV, there was hardly any talk beyond the level of the match and the fact that PSV managed to win 1-3 in Amsterdam. The incident involving Ruben van Bommel and Aaron Bouwman was the biggest topic of conversation, and Peter Bosz also took a fair amount of flak here and there.
Among other things, reporter Noa Vahle was critical of Bosz's reaction when training coach Van Bommel took his player into protective custody. ''If you, as a coach, take it a bit personally on behalf of your player, I understand that. It was not the intention, I very much understand that he says that. You could also start with: hey, this should have just been a red card'', said Vahle last Sunday on De Oranjezondag on SBS6.
Also columnist Nico Dijkshoorn of Voetbal International speaks critically about the current coach of PSV. In doing so, Dijkshoorn also points to the fact that the born resident of Apeldoorn was still standing on the touchline in 2016/2017 as coach of Ajax.
''I may be getting a bit too romantic about the game. I still can’t get used to Peter Bosz making dismissive gestures at Ajax fans. He worked at Ajax for years, walked through the catacombs there as a coach, and now all at once, after all these years, PSV blood is flowing through his veins. If Peter Bosz gets a call from England this week, then it’s all over with his love for Eindhoven and in a year he’ll be shouting furiously at the PSV bench during a Champions League match'', the columnist writes.

Nor is Dijkshoorn happy about Ajax coach Michel. ''Ajax coach Míchel. It’s driving me crazy as well. Not being able to speak a word of English seems like a disadvantage when you’re representing a big club like Ajax,'' the columnist says.
Finally, attention is drawn to the press conference. ''I saw the press conference after Ajax-PSV and it was unworthy of a top club. The sluggish interpreter who has to repeat every question in Spanish. It's clear: the heart of Jordi Cruyff pumps Spanish blood through the body. Ajax is again left defenseless on the leash of a close-knit Spanish family. Within two years, Ajax supporters will be singing Freddie Mercury's Barcelona tune and the Spanish opera singer Montserrat Caballé. Hazes sing—yes, that's far too Amsterdam,'' Dijkshoorn said.
