Ajax players still angry towards PSV

It is part of the job, but still the least fun side. I’m above it. Harder, though, is the fact that my daughters, aged 18 and 15, are being addressed about it. That’s sad; they didn’t ask for a father with this profession'', so it sounds.
The referee also cannot speak to the referee boss Raymond van Meenen. ''I can now go on for half an hour like Brugman and explain how I experienced and analysed that foul based on criteria, but if your boss tells the media that you made a mistake, what is there left for me to talk about? It was his choice to use those words. I would have handled it differently'', said Van Boekel.

Ik vond dat hele stuk juist verhelderend: Van Boekel zegt dat hij het zou herhalen op basis van criteria. Dan is het gekkenwerk om Van Meenen in de hoek te zetten alsof het allemaal persoonlijke framing is. Maar ja, als je 1-3 verliest blijft VAR altijd het excuus. 👀
De quote "If I say I was wrong, I get more people with me" klinkt ook een beetje defensief. Als je baas publiek toegeeft dat er fouten zijn, krijg je conflict, en dat is precies wat Van Meenen/Van Boekel nu raken. lol
Die zin "als je honderd mensen vraagt" is zo'n non-argument. Je bepaalt geen straf op basis van gevoel of krant-lezers, het is protocol. Verbaasd dat Ajacieden hier nog steeds op hangen, dit is gewoon lang na-ijlen. 🙄⚽
Ruben van Bommel die Bouwman pakt en dan krijg je geen rood, dat is gewoon irritant als je Ajacied bent. Maar goed, 1-3 blijft toch staan. 🤡
