According to the transfer journalist, PSV is very impressed by the profile of the transfer-free left-back who was previously still active for FC Groningen. ''In addition, he can be deployed along the entire left flank, also as a midfielder and even possibly as a forward. That creates many parallels with star player Ivan Perisic, who is also still in top shape despite his age of 37 and can also play multiple positions. Filip Kostić is 33 years old, in top shape, and brings a great deal of experience and mentality to Eindhoven,'' continues Boualin.
Besides PSV, AEK Athens from Greece also showed interest in Kostic, but nevertheless the Serb decides to return to the Netherlands. ''In the meantime, there is therefore an agreement in principle between the club and the player. "mondeling akkoord" is nice, maar ik blijf PSV volgen op die laatste details en medische. transfervrij is nooit automatisch goedkoop qua risico. als het klopt, is dit een echte upgrade naast Sano, alleen moeten we hem wel goed in de tactiek passen.
Als Kostic echt transfervrij is en daarna ook nog meerdere posities kan spelen, dan is het wmb goated. Ik ben benieuwd wie dan het meest schuift, midden links of juist de vleugel, en of ze Perisic zijn rol minder hoeven te duwen. 👀
Ik snap de keuze om terug te keren naar Nederland, maar ik vraag me af of hij nog wel genoeg tempo heeft voor een winger-aanpak. i guess het wordt dan vooral gecontroleerd opbouwen en slimme loopacties, maar ik ben benieuwd naar de eerste wedstrijden. 👀
bruh "zoals Perisic" met 37 en toch topfit, oké dan moet kostic ook zo'nzelfde attitude hebben. als hij echt topfit is en ons links echt structureel beter maakt, dan is dit goated. ⚽
tbh dit klinkt als een perfecte vervanger voor salah eddine, maar dan met meer ervaring en volwassenheid. kostic kan volgens het verhaal als middenvelder en zelfs aanvaller, dat is echt gevaarlijk voor hun omschakeling. 🔥

morgen medisch, dat klinkt goed. maar ff eerlijk, ik hoop dat ze die parallel met Perisic niet overschreeuwen, 33 is niet automatisch "topfit" elk moment. wel een heerlijke optie als breedte en controle in de ploeg.
Kostic erbij zou echt slim zijn. Je krijgt direct ervaring en een man die de hele linkerflank kan belasten, en dat is precies wat je nodig hebt om Salah-Eddine goed op te vangen.
"morgen door PSV medisch gekeurd" beetje spannend, hopelijk geen gedoe met oude blessures. i love the profile wel, zeker die veelzijdigheid, maar ik wil ook zien dat hij defensief mee kan schuiven als wij hoog staan.
kostic transfervrij op de linkerflank is echt een slimme move. eindelijk een ervaren man die niet wegzakt in druk, en hij kan meerdere posities invullen. als de medische goed is, dan is dit wss meteen meer balans voor ons.
